Ya I know. It's kind of neat to see videos of old concept cars like this and then see how the car companies actually used those design elements in production models.

The purpose of most concept cars. Disign studies.

The Chrysler Chronos looks a lot like the 300C does now.

That Chronos looks almost like a Maserati Quattroporte.

most of these cars have come and gone thank for bring back memories. the misubishi concept became the 2000-2005 eclipse the mv-99 1999-2004 honda odyssey, bmw 507 became the sadly shortlived z9. the 4.7 v8 in the jeepster concept is still in production now with 300 hp instead of 235 in the 1999 grand cherokee. the chriser cronos became the template for the 2005 to current lx plaform 300 series.

These minivans were deathtraps until GM fixed them. We used to own a '98 and I still thank God that we were never in any accidents with it.

These minivans were so much ahead of their time. The finest minivans a family could possibly get! From the 185 hp V6, to the AWD, to the 8 pass seating, the GM minivans are truly excellent. The GM U-body vans were the minivan banchmark, and since the Opel/Vauxhall Sintra were aired in 1996, GM made them for over 8 years straight! That's an extraordinary accomplishment! Thank you GM, for making those awesome minivans like the Silhouette, Venture, Montana, etc! Bravo, GM minivans! |
